1. Work out your quietest times of the week, month or even year. Then start planning extra events to get customers through the door such as poker nights, Wii competitions to themed children and family days. 2. Try and expand your customer base by tailoring your events to suit a new audience. For instance if your pub is near a University, offering good student deals on food and drink is a sure way to increase lunch time trade. 3. Is there anywhere you could advertise in the local area? Start to make contact with activity centres or sports clubs and offer discounted prices on food and drinks for their meetings or team nights. When you've had a few successful events, why not start a customer email list to notify them once a month of all upcoming events? You can then start to send emails about special offers you may have and display your themed menu - giving customers a clear reason to book early for Valentines Day, Easter or next Christmas.
